Haddo House is a beautiful building, but one constructed of laughter and tears. On a beautiful summer's day, when the sky is an azure blue, clouds utterly absent and the air filled with bird song, one could climb the curving stone steps that lead to the grand entrance and imagine oneself in Italy, so refined and noble is the architectural design.
